Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours while foggy conditions are expected to prevail in plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

The Pak-Met daily weather report said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly trough is still prevailing over northern parts of the country and likely to persist during next two to three days.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province, however, rain (snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places of Malakand division during next 24 hours.

In Sindh and Balochistan, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the provinces during this time.

In Kashmir rain and snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of the valley during next 24 hours whereas in Gilgit-Baltistan rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places.
