India plans wall along LoC, NA told

National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz on Friday told the National Assembly that India to build a concrete wall along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sialkot sector.
In a written statement, he said work on 41 km long and 10 meter high wall hadn’t started yet, and the Indian authorities had been accordingly conveyed message to refrain from materializing this project.
He also said that during last eight years, Iran had set free 46 prisoners, and India released 725 Pakistanis.
During the same period, Pakistan set free 1801 Indian prisoners, he added.
On behalf of the advisor on foreign affairs‚ Khurram Dastagir Khan said Pakistan released the Indian prisoners after completion of their sentences as per the bilateral agreement but regretfully India was not reciprocating in the same manner.
He said the government has taken up this issue seriously with India to ensure release of its prisoners.
