Former interior minister Rehman Malik has forwarded an important yet secret message of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday.
According to sources, the Malik became a messenger when he forwarded an important message during a meeting held in Bilawal House to discuss overall situation of the country.
The text of the message was not disclosed but if sources are to be believed than it may be regarding the current situation of the country including dialogue with Taliban or about the developments in Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
He added that those who said that Pakistan refused to hand over two alleged murderes of Imran Farooq were not aware of the situation.
Rehman Malik reiterates that, during his tenure, no Pakistani was arrested in Imran Farooq murder case.
