Indians will leave Kashmir like US is leaving Afghanistan: JI

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Syed Munawar Hasan Wednesday said that Indian army in occupied Kashmir would be forced to vacate the state in humiliation like the US-led forces are leaving Afghanistan.

He was addressing the Kashmir Solidarity Day rally at D Chowk in front of the Parliament House. The rally was attended by a large number of people including men, women and children. The rally marched from China Chowk to D Chowk carrying banners and placards condemning Indian barbarities and supporting the right of self determination of the Kashmiris.

Abdul Rashid Turabi, APHC Convener GhulamMuhammad Safi, former MNA Mian Aslam and others addressed the rally.

Syed Munawar Hasan said Afghanistan has become a graveyard for American troops where the super power despite spending billions of dollars could gain nothing except the killing of Osama bin Laden.

He said the Kashmir would soon witness the dawn of freedom and hinted that after the American withdrawal, India would have to deal with Afghanis who have already declared the country as anti-Muslims and anti-Afghans.

Hasan said entire Pakistan was standing shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiris and appreciated the government for adopting a unanimous resolution from the National Assembly in support of Kashmiris right to self determination.
