MWM rejects talks with Taliban

The Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) on Monday demanded the government to immediately arrest culprits involved in the target killing of three local bodies (LB) candidates of MWM.

Addressing the Chehlum of martyred workers at Abbas Alamdar Mosque Gulistan-e-Johar in Karachi, MWM Central Deputy Secretary General Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi, Senior Shia clerics Mirza Yousuf Hussain and Ejaz Behishti said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led Sindh government had failed to protect citizens from terrorists. They said that the rising incidents of target killing have raised the question on the capability of Sindh government, police and Rangers.

They demanded immediate arrest of the killers of MWM leader Maulana Didar Ali Jalbani and MWM slain candidates.

They rejected talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)       demanded that targeted military operation should be launched to eliminate the terrorists.
