Car lifting is on rise in Commercial Market Rawalpindi due to poor security arrangements, shopkeepers and visitors said.
Talking to Online they said the police do not have any effective system to curb car lifters.
Visitors also said that private guards are also not paying attention to improve monitoring activities of the thieves.
They said that several cars and motorbikes have been stolen from the market in recent days. The residents said that the families have avoided to visit the market lest the car theft. Meanwhile, the visitors also complained against the scattered heaps of garbage in the park. Aliyaan khan visitor at the park said that the condition of the park is very pathetic.
The residents have demanded of authorities concerned to take notice of the situation and ensure standard security system at the park.
