TTP and Govt committees to hold a joint meeting on Tuesday

The 4-members committee of government representatives will be meeting with committee members of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on Tuesday at 2 pm, a private news channel reported.
The decision was taken when Jamiat Ulma e Islam- Sami (JUI-S) Chief Maulana Samiul Haq contacted Irfan Siddiqui and Major (r) Amir on Monday
According to reports Sami, who has been nominated by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as one of the five representatives of TTP for peace talks with government, contacted government nominated committee members Irfan Siddiqui and Major (R) Amir on telephone.
Siddiqui, while talking to a private news channel said that Sami expressed his willingness to initiate the peace talks while he offered him to decide the time and venue for the first meeting between the two committees.
Sami told Siddiqui that he will be informing about the venue and time after consultations.
Sami was nominated on Saturday by TTP along with Maulana Abdul Aziz, Prof Ibrahim, Imran Khan and Mufti Kifayat Ullah. Imran Khan has not yet announced his participation in the committee.
