Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi on Monday said that the Judges in various courts of Islamabad and the lawyers are delivering outstanding performance in their fields respectively, however improvement is always required to further enhance their capacities.
He expressed these views in the inaugural ceremony of two-day training for Judges and lawyers of Federal Capital Territory at the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA).
Regarding the training he said, “The academy is arranging short-term and long -term courses successfully. The present course is one which would definitely strengthen the capacities of the practicing lawyers. I, therefore, extend my thanks to the administration of the academy for coordinating this vital course and engaging renowned guest speakers.”
About the academy, he said, “The academy is a great `seat of learning’. It enlightens the participants with different modern techniques and sources of knowledge as an alma mater. The present workshops is intended to provide a great opportunity to the stakeholders of legal and Justice system in Islamabad to interact and develop understanding with each other. It is a great opportunity for lawyers and judges of ICT to exchange their knowledge, expertise, difficulties and experiences.”
Spokesman of the academy, Hashim Abro, said that twelve judicial officers and thirty-two lawyers of Federal Capital Territory were undergoing this two-day training in the Academy.
