ISLAMABAD
Rainfall and snowfall was received in several parts of the country on Monday.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi received a heavy rainfall while Lahore, Sahiwal, Kasur, Shorkot, Noorpur Thal and several other parts of Punjab received light rain.
Reports of rain were also received from areas in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Malakand division and Tribal areas while mountaineous areas of Murree, Chitral, Ziarat, Neelum, Keel, Gareez, Lipa and Kahota were hit by snow.
The Met office has forecast rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan besides snowfall on the mountains in the next 24 hours.
