Former governments ignored coastal belt of Sindh: CM

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that previous governments always ignored coastal belt of Sindh but present government besides installation of power plants on Sindh coast will also work for development in other sectors.
The CM in reply to the queries of opposition in Sindh Assembly session on Monday said that 5,00 houses were given to the IDPs of floods in 2010.
He said that in previous tenure of Pakistan People’s Party, Rs 11 billion have been spent for the flood affectees. He also said that along with the installation of a power plant at Keti Bandar, a double carriage road will also be constructed between Karachi and Tharparkar.
He said that the government has already spent 7 crore on this project.
