‘Sehat ka Insaf’ immunisation campaign has begun in Peshawar amid tight security on Sunday.

The district administration has imposed Section 144 CrPC banning motorcycle riding in the city to provide security for the campaign.

Minister for Health had announced that during the initial phase of the Sehat ka Insaf drive, 480,000 children will be administered.

The campaign has been launched after Peshawar was declared as hub of polio. The move by the Khyber Pakhunkhwa (KP) government is being appreciated across the country.

In its first anti-polio campaign of 2014 in tribal areas, around 10,700 children remained deprived of polio drops.
