Govt rehabilitates 150 destroyed schools, 24 health centres in FATA
A total of 150 destroyed schools have so far been rehabilitated out of 480 destroyed by various militants in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), said a source in Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (Safron).
He said the remaining 330 destroyed schools were being rehabilitated on priority. Most of the damaged institutions have been made functional either in form of tents or the students have been shifted to the nearest vicinity, he added.
Likewise, 68 health facilities were either destroyed or partially damaged in Fata by militants. Out of these 24 have been repaired/reconstructed. Efforts are being made to repair/reconstruct the remaining 44 facilities.
