The government of Sindh has once again imposed pillion riding ban for one month in the province forcing the common man to suffer at the hands of transport mafia. Such bans are imposed in other parts of the country too. I often wonder what wrong has the common man of this country done that he is made to pay for the crime that he never committed. It also gives the impression that the government of Sindh is hand in gloves with transport mafia.
Despite pillion riding ban, crime rate has not gone down an inch. In fact the number of target killings has gone up with each passing day. In order to give relief to the common man for benefitting from pillion riding ban, I have following suggestions to make:
1. Pillion riding should be allowed only to those who carry their original CNIC with them and can satisfy law enforcement agencies about who they are.
2. Pillion riders should be asked to prove their employment/business identity when stopped by law enforcement agencies.
3. If the law enforcement agencies feels necessary, pillion riders’ cell numbers can be noted in a register to track them at a later stage if need be.
4. Doctors and fire fighters should also be included in the list of people exempted from pillion riding ban.
If Supreme Court of this country can take suo motu of sugar and samosa prices, what is stopping the courts of this country from taking notice of public grievances?

1. So, police should stop all the Pillion riders and check their CNIC? Won't this let Police take bribes easily. They will only be satisfied by those who pay them and those who dont pay them will be fined?
2. What if the pillion riders who are the terrorist dont get stopped by the law enforcement agnencies to their luck and they shoot the hell out of our families shopping in market.
3. What if they provide wrong or incorrect cell numbers?
4. How to prove that the person riding are the doctors?
Sorry but for a lame reader like me, all ur suggestions are crap!
Solution is, in the county like Pakistan and place where MQM owns the city, Pillion ridding should always be banned as there are people who use this to kill our families.
