Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan took oath as Supreme Court judge today (Friday), a private news channel reported.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJ) Justice Tassadduq Hussain Jillani administered the oath in a ceremony held at the apex court in Islamabad.
The ceremony was attended by judges of superior judiciary and a large number of lawyers.
The post fell vacant after the retirement of former CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
