Special ward for treatment of infectious diseases in HolyFamilyHospital approved
Punjab government has accorded approval for establishment of special ward in connection with treatment of contagious diseases in Holy Family hospital Rawalpindi.
The ward will be constructed at the cost of Rs 70 millions which will comprise 75 beds. Funds amounting to Rs 880,000 have been released in this regard and directives have been issued to start construction work soon. More funds will be provided in next budget.
The citizens of Rawalpindi have expressed jubilation over the approval for construction of special ward for providing treatment with regard to infectious diseases as no proper treatment facility was existing in any government run hospital in Rawalpindi city and cantonment.
