The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Thursday forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural resources seeking a cut in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the summary, a decrease of Rs3 per litre for petrol and Rs5.27 for diesel has been recommended.
If the summary is implemented, the new per litre price of petrol from February 1 will be Rs109.72.
Rs4.50 and Rs4.28 decrease in per litre price of kerosene oil and light diesel, respectively, has also been sought.
