Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government proved its good intentions by adopting the path to peace, in spite of recent terror attacks.
Talking to media after attending a ceremony on Thursday, he said nothing could be better than achieving peace through talks.
He said the government opted for peace talks in spite of killings of army troops and civilians, and there were hopes that the ‘other side’ would also respond positively.
