The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to help Pakistan in overcoming the energy crisis.
The reaffirmation was made by US Energy Secretary Dr Ernest Moniz during a meeting with Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif in Washington.
He appreciated the energy policy and the steps taken by Pakistan to end the energy crisis. He said Pakistan had huge energy resources whose development could bring about fast economic development and prosperity in the country. Secretary Moniz also assured continued US support to Pakistan for the further development of renewable energy sector.
