KP CM discusses war-on-terror with PM Nawaz

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Prime Minister House on Monday.

The two discussed the escalating terrorist activities occurring in the province and the country on the whole.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif discussed the war against terrorism and law and order situation in KP with the chief minister.

Khattak who was leading Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s delegation told PM that the provincial government is taking all possible steps to culminate terrorism and requires federal government’s support in this regard.

KP senior provincial minister Sirajul Haq and Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar were also present in the meeting.

Earlier, Pervez Khattak said that he will discuss Taliban-talks issue with the prime minister and to give him a detailed briefing on law and order, provincial resources, hydropower projects, net profit on electricity, and other matters.
