Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai called on President Mamnoon Hussain at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday and briefed him on the overall situation in the province.
The president reiterated commitment of the government towards socio-economic development of Balochistan and redressal of the grievances of the people of the province. He said that government accords priority to the sustainable development of Balochistan and to remove the sense of deprivation of the people of Balochistan. He assured all out support of the federal government to the provincial government in its efforts to bring the people of Balochistan into the mainstream of national life in terms of progress and prosperity.
The Balochistan governor briefed the president about current Law and order situation in the province and the various steps being taken to maintain peace and security in the province.
The president on the occasion while expressing solidarity with the victims of Mastung tragedy stressed for stern action against perpetrators of the heinous crime and bringing to justice all those responsible for killing of innocent people of Hazara Community.
