Sheesha smoking has become fashion among youth and its use is increasing day by day. Dr Qaisar Sajjad of Pakistan Medical Association stated this while addressing a seminar on Oral Cancer. The seminar was organised by Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh in connection with Youth Health Awarness Program (YHAP) at Shaheed-e-Millat College FB Area. The seminar also held in 10 schools. Dr Qaisar Sajjad said that throat cancer is harmful because its spread via gutka, tobacco smoking and manpuri and the youngsters should be restricted of these things. Special Secretary Youth Affairs Riaz Ahmed said that using sheesha for one hour is dangerous and is equivalent to 100 cigarettes. He said that 40pc tobacco and 60 pc essence is used in sheesha. Project Director Saleem Ahmed said that Oral Cancer is increasing among youth of the country.
