The Sindh government has imposed a ban on pillion ridding for one month on Sunday. The ban will be effective from 12 am today (Monday).
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said the ban on pillion riding had been imposed on the backdrop of recent terror incidents and attacks on policemen. Women, disabled persons, senior citizens, journalists, law enforcement agencies personnel and children under 12 years remain exempted from the ban, Sharjeel Memon said. The development comes amid an ongoing targeted operation against criminal elements and outlaws in Karachi.
