Member Engineering and Environment of CDA Sanaullah Aman has taken strict action against four officials for showing negligence in their duties.
He ordered an inquiry against Assistant Director Parks Development, Chief Inspector Sanitation, Sub-Eengineer Sanitation and Sub-Engineer Sewerage for dereliction of duties.
Sanaullah Aman visited Rose and Jasmine Garden, Shakar Parrian, Islamabad Highway, and sectors I-8, I-9 and I-10. He expressed dissatisfaction over dysfunctional street-lights and water filtration
plants, and deteriorated condition of pavements and roads, besides cleanliness arrangements.
He warned the CDA officials of strict action for not performing duties efficiently.
The Member Engineering, while talking to APP, said the authority was taking concrete measures to further beautify Islamabad following the directives of CDA chairman.
He said the CDA was committed to provide healthy and recreational facilities to the residents of Capital.
He said steps were being taken for the upkeep of parks and playgrounds so that people could enjoy their free time in recreational activities in a healthy environment.
