Two dead bodies were recovered on Saturday from Lasbela Pull in the metropolis, a private channel reported.
According to the report, the victims had been kidnapped and subjected to torture before being shot dead.
Meanwhile, Karachi Rangers arrested 22 suspects during a targeted operation in the Karachi.
More than 600 personnel of Rangers, including the anti-terrorism unit and lady soldiers, conducted an operation in SITE Metroville after sealing the entry and exit point of the area.
22 suspects were held, including members of a banned organization. A large number of arms were also recovered from the arrested.
Furthermore, a heavy quantity of arms was also recovered from the suspects.
On Friday night, two suspects were shot dead in a police encounter in Baghdadi area of Lyari. The suspects were affiliates of the Lyari gangs.
Targeted operations have been going on in Karachi on the directives of the Federal government for controlling the crime rate and apprehending criminals involved in target killings, kidnappings, extortions, gang wars and terrorism.
