Election Tribunal (ET) rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s petition in which it challenged the victory of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in NA-256 constituency in Karachi.
It may be recalled that PTI’s Zubair Khan had challenged victory of MQM’s Iqbal Muhammad Ali after NADRA report claimed that thousands of votes could not be verified in the constituency.
Election tribunal on Saturday gave the verdict, rejecting his appeal for a re-poll in the constituency.
Talking to media, Zubair Khan said he would challenge ET’s verdict in the Supreme Court.
