Shahbaz likely to inaugurate Rawalpindi Metro Bus project on February 28
All arrangements have been finalised to initiate Metro Bus Service project in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Feasibility report and PC-I of the project have been prepared, and Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is expected to inaugurate the project on February 28.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs33 billion to Rs35 billion and it would be completed in 11 months time. Initially, 15 buses will be launched from Flashman Chowk Rawalpindi to Pak Secretariat via IJP Road and Faizabad.
Tenders for the award of the project will be announced on February 06, according to sources.
