The Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Bugti tribe cleared the National Highway on Saturday after an 8-day sit-in.
The IDPs cleared the road but continued their sit-in, lead by Shahzain Bugti, in a cricket ground near the highway.
The 8-day protest of the Bugti tribesmen had led to a complete gridlock at the highway.
Shahzain Bugti announced to move the demonstration to the cricket ground after a meeting with National Assembly’s opposition leader Khursheed Shah who assured him that food, medical and residential facilities will be provided to the IDPs in the field.
