Police have arrested 20 suspects during a search operation in various parts of the city on Friday.
Police said that the operation was launched in the wake of fresh wave of terrorism in the country.
The police said they were interrogating the suspects taken into custody during the search operation in Gulshan Ravi, Bund Road and other areas.
Police sources said the operation was carried out on the direction of the Punjab government. They said the operation would continue and the security agencies have been directed to remain on a high alert.
