Pakistan decides surgical attacks on militants

A meeting presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has decided to launch surgical strikes against militants involved in terrorism attacks in the country on Thursday.

The meeting on the law and order situation in the country was attended by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali and Information Minister Pervez Rashid.

The meeting decided for surgical attacks at the hideouts of the militants and their training camps, sources said.

The meeting not discussed ground offensive against the militants, sources said. The meeting also decided to boost security at Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan including aerial surveillance of the border area, sources further said.

  1. Talaban is a terrorist organization. There goal is to destroy Pakistan. Talaban goal is to regroup by taking. The only answer to them is all out war. People off Pakistan has suffered a lot. War should be mounted until last terrorists is sent to hell.
