Lyari gang war affiliate Behram was killed in a joint operation of Rangers and Karachi police, a private news channel reported on Wednesday.
According to police, Behram was an associate of Wasiullah Lakhu group of the gangs operation in Lyari area of the metropolis and was involved in a number of crimes.
Also on Wednesday, Baloch colony residents staged a protest against police raids on their residences.
Gathered at the Baloch Colony Expressway, the protestors condemned the police raiding their houses and arresting innocent people.
They burned tyres and threw stones at the deployed policemen in the area. The policemen responded with aerial firing and shelling to disperse the demonstrators.
The protest also led to a gridlock at Korangi road.
