Families of the victims of Tuesday’s blast targeting a bus carrying Shia pilgrims in Mastung area of Balochistan staged a protest demonstration in Quetta on Wednesday.25 pilgrims were martyred in the explosion.
Leaders of Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen also joined the protestors who placed the dead bodies of their family member at Alamdar chowk in the metropolis and staged a sit-in that called for arrest of the culprits behind the sectarian attacks.
Protestors chanted slogans against the government’s alleged ignorance to the issue and threatened to surround the Governor’s and Chief Minister’s house if the criminals are not dealt with an iron fist.
A shutter-down strike is being observed across the province on call of MWM in condemnation of the attack.
