ASWJ leader survives attack in Karachi

A leader of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) was attacked on Tuesday by unknown gunmen in Landhi area of the metropolis, a private news channel reported.
ASWJ leader Maulana Zarin was targeted in the locality’s Labour Colony by unidentified men who opened fire on his vehicle.
Zarin remained safe in the attack.
ASWJ has witnessed a series of assaults on its leaders recently.
ASWJ leader Shamsur Rehman Muawiya, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Lahore on December 6 while on January 3, ASWJ’s secretary for Islamabad Mufti Muneer Muawiya and Qari Asad Mahmood were exterminated in the national capital’s I-8 sector.
