Anti-Polio drive was launched across 32 districts of Balochistan on Monday.
According to Health Department’s officials, some 2.2 million children, including 400,000 in Quetta, will be given polio drops during the campaign, for which 896 teams have been formed.
A total of 96 transit and 95 fixed points have been set up to administer polio drops.
Officials said special security measures have been taken for the protection of anti-polio teams, with over 650 policemen, Levies and FC personnel deployed in Quetta only.
