Mehfil-e-Milad held at Roots Millennium Schools

Millennials celebrated the birth anniversary of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) by organizing ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ in all Roots Millennium Schools nationwide campuses. True stories from the life of our Prophet (SAW) were told to the students that gave them a moral lesson. Ten favorite foods of our Prophet (SAW) were shown to the children to create awareness in the little ones to use fruits and healthy drinks like milk, water and honey.

The ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ began with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by ‘Hamd’. Young students recited ‘Naats’ and took turns to narrate a wide range from the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Students expressed their immense love and deep affection for our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and renewed their pledge to truly follow ‘Seerat-un-Nabi’ and spread the message of peace, tolerance, harmony and affection. ‘Durood-o-Salams’ were offered to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) after each ‘Naat’. Everyone felt spiritually elevated and bonded together as they listened to the holy recitals.

To achieve the overall effect of serenity and tranquility, the backdrop of the stage was fabulously decorated with deep blue and white fresh flowers and sheer fabric, while the participants were beautifully clad in white and turquoise dresses.

The ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ ended with an overwhelming and heart-rending ‘Dua’ for the prosperity of the country and for the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
