More than 80 shops were gutted when a fire broke out at Sarafa Bazaar on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, the fire erupted early morning and engulfed more than 100 shops in which 80 shops were completely reduced to ashes.
Rescue officials said they faced problems due to the narrow alleys. However, the fire was soon brought into control.
On the other hand, the Sarafa Market Association said that shopkeepers had faced huge losses as gold worth billions was in the shops.
