Spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra community on Friday passed away at the age of 102 at a hospital in Mumbai, India.
Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin was under treatment at the hospital after he suffered from a heart attack.
Members of Dawoodi Bohra community started gathering in different Jamaat Khanas in Karachi and others parts of the country as the news about his death spread.
He will be laid to rest in Mumbai.
Patron in Chief of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, condoled the passing away of the spiritual leader.
Bilawal praised the services of Dr. Burhanuddin for spiritual guidance and welfare of his community in the sub-continent and all around the world.
