The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday reinstated Accountant General of Pakistan (AGP) Tahir Mehmood on his post, a private news channel reported.
The decision came during the hearing of the petition filed by Mehmood in the IHC.
Mehmood was sent on a leave for three months. He filed an appeal in the High Court against the forced leave by the government.
Justice Noor-ul-Haq headed the hearing and ruled to reinstate Mehmood at his post of AGP, and sought replies from Secretary Finance, Secretary Establishment and Auditor General within 15 days
This man calles Nawaz Sharee f- Allah Almighty has deprived him of have the capacity to learn from his mistakes. Just count the number of officials restored by the judiciary, and declared their termination un-lawful. But he continues with him pilitical victimisation. Shameful behaviour.
