Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the Karachi operation should continue till the peace was completely restored in the city.
He was meeting the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad, where the minister apprised him about the Karachi operation. The PM gave directives to the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to continue the ongoing targeted operation at all costs till the situation stablises in the metropolitan.
The PM expressed satisfaction over the ongoing operation against criminal elements in Karachi.
On asking about the Taliban-government dialogue, Chaudhry Nisar briefed PM about the progress made in dialogue process with certain elements of the outlawed group upon which the Nawaz expressed satisfaction.
