CDA allocates Rs 4.3 m for beautifying Zero Point

Landscaping of Zero Point Interchange would start immediately after the completion of ongoing earth and ground work, said Member Engineering CDA, Sanaullah Aman on Thursday.

Talking to APP, he said a sum of Rs 4.3 million has been allocated for beautifying the Zero Point Interchange.

The amount would be used for supplying and dibbling of grass at Zero Point Interchange. The ongoing beautification and land scaping work at Zero Point would be completed at the earliest in a scenic and beautiful manner, he added.

He said that flowery plants, evergreen tress, seasonal fruit trees and grass should be planted at the avenues while already existing grass should be properly trimmed.

Member Engineering said that Environment Wing would utilize its best professional abilities to make the site of Zero Point beautiful and attractive.

He also directed the officials of Environment Wing to plant seasonal flowers in the medians and trim the wild grass along with the avenues and in parks.

He directed the concerned officers/officials to repair the damaged footpaths and pathways as well as replace the broken curve stones in the markets.
