Unidentified men on Friday blew up a gas pipeline, disrupting gas supply to various areas of Balochistan and Sindh.
According to Levies sources, explosives planted with a 16-inch in diameter gas pipeline went off in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti, partially destroying the pipeline.
Gas leakage after the blast led to a fire which was put off by the authorities and gas supply was suspended.
Sui gas officials have said that repair of the pipeline is underway and gas supply to the affected areas will be restored soon.
