Chairman of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Anwar Baig on Friday said that the BISP has no connection with the seven arrests made by FIA in Punjab on charges of sending fraud messages on cell phones, a private news channel reported.
Speaking on his visit to Karachi Chamber, Baig said that the fraudsters had misused the name of BISP and were in no way connected to the organization. He urged the authorities to take action against the accused.
Baig requested entrepreneurs to extend their hand to help BISP in job training for deserving individuals.
VERIFICATION of ACTIVITIES OR COMPLAIN FOR ACTION AGAINST CULPRITS.
Dear sir,
On 6th Nov 2014, I received a SMS from cell No: 923420058483, on my cell no: 0333-2386485 that my said cell no: was Registered in BISP and asked me to call 0335-0195099 with my CNIC in hand. ( I NEVER GET REGISTERED for BISP).
I called to 92-342-0058483 & the attain dent gave me BISP Supervisor Mohd Ali Cell No; 0334-8467655.
I called to Modh Ali, who congratulated me & asked me to send secret nos of 03 Mobilink Card each of Rs 100/- with 02 CNIC nos & assured me just after receipt of Rs 300.00 through Mobilink Card & I will receive 02 SMS on my cell No: giving details of Payments of Rs 15200/- & of rs 10,000/- which to be received from any Easy Pisa shop showing my CNIC & telling Pass codes. He also assured me the THERE WILL BE NO MORE PAYMENT REQUIRED IN ANY ACCOUNT FROM ME.
I sent one Mobilink Card of Rs 300.00 & called Mohd Ali, He confirmed the receipt of Rs 300/- Phone Card no. BUT he said asked me to send Two more Mobilink Card nos: each of Rs 300/-. The reason he told that To activate Checks of Rs 15200/- & of Rs 10,000/- he need Rs 480/- & Rs 360/- respectively and once again HE ASSURED ME THAT THIS WILL BE THE LAST & FINAL PAYMENT & THERE WILL BE NO MORE PAYMENT, IN ANY ACCOUNT.
On his assurance, I once again sent by SMS no: of Mobilink Card's Secret numbers to Mohd Ali on his Cell No; 0334-8467655.
Thereafter, i informed him & he told me, to give Cell Nos of WARID or MOBILINK or TELENOR, needed to send SMS for confirming Payment of Rs 15200/- & of rs 10,000/- giving reason that UPHON Netwrok is out of order since morning.
I sent him my wife's Warid Cell No; & received Ist massage to receive Ist Payment of Rs 15200/- BUT Mohd Ali asked me to call him for PASSCODE.
I called him for giving me PASSCODE, he told me to provide Registration Number & ATM Card number of BISP ( which I never received). Now he told me to receive Registration Number & ATM Card number of BISP, call Haji Aslam in Multan on 0300-0730379. I called Haji Aslam, who demanded me to send Rs 4000/- to issuing Registration Number & ATM Card, WITHIN ONE hour.
I CRIED ON HIM & become RASH, for this demand, He advised me to contact Mohd Ali again in Islamabad for PASS CODE BUT Mohd Ali said I HAVE TO PAY Rs 4000/- to get PASS CODE. I said RETURN MY PAID Rs 900/- BUT he said that he WILL CANCEL my approved funds of Rs 25,200/- & will Pay some one else.
Now, my REQUEST is, TO VERIFY IT, on urgent basis. IF IT IS AGAINST BISP than TAKE ACTION AGAINST such CULPRITS & ARREST THE PEOPLES, INVOLVED IN SUCH ACTIVITIES, who are TRYING TO FAILDOWN GOOD WORKS, the GOVT doing for Peoples Welfare.
Please up date me with POSITIVE REPLY & YOUR ACTION AGAINST THESE PEOPLES.
