Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Wednesday said a third power was trying to send Musharraf abroad.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was opening new Pandora’s box by starting trial of former president Pervez Musharraf.
He urged the PML-N to fulfill promises being made during electioneering and should not befool people.
The PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are two sides of the same coin and the government will not open cases against the PPP.
He pointed out that Zardari’s appearance before the court would be symbolic only.
