Two sisters on Thursday set ablaze currency notes worth Rs 1.8 million over a personal grudge in Jehlum.
Aged between 30 to 40 years, the women came to a local bank along with a personal guard and withdrew 1.8 million rupees. A quarrel sparked between them over sharing the money and they set fire to it.
The women also pointed a pistol at those who tried to stop them.
According to the bank manager, the women are customers of the bank for the last 10 years and have a joint account.
So where are the two sisters now ??
Have they been arrested for burning National Currency ??
Does anybody know that…………
there is a fine and even possible prison time for burning money.
Under the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC),whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces
or burns any bank bill shall be fined and imprisoned for six months.
