Jafferia Disaster Management Cell (JDC) Welfare Organisation plans to light 12,000 oil lamps at Numaish intersection, MA Jinnah Road, on the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
Ali Raza, media coordinator of JDC Welfare Organisation, a body working for people in need said Tuesday that citizens of the metropolis would be invited to set a world record on Rabi-ul-Awwal 12.
“Citizens without any distinction can be part of an exercise meant to pay tribute to the last Prophet,” he said.
Our motive is to remind the world that Islam is a religion of peace and the Holy Prophet was sent as Allah’s messenger to invite people towards peace, said Ali Raza.
