CPO seeks update on enquiry into Gracy Lines incident
Determined to arrest the mastermind and culprits of Gracy Lines suicide attack, City Police Officer (CPO) Akhter Umer Hayat Lalayka has sought update on investigation being carried out by Civil Lines Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Haroon Rashid into the tragic incident.
He directed Rashid to expedite the enquiry on scientific lines and utilise all available resources to bring handlers and culprits of the heinous crime to task at the earliest, official said.
Lalayka also directed the interrogating officer to approach National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and intelligence departments concerned to determine identity of the suicide bomber after examination of his recovered head.
