Sehba Musharraf, former first lady and spouse of ex president Pervez Musharraf has accelerated efforts to save her husband from the treason trial as she has contacted several army officials and politicians.
Sources revealed that Sehba Musharraf visited various Askari colonies in Rawalpindi, held meetings with army officials and their wives, recalling the sweet memories, mustering their support and discussing various possibilities leading to his safe exit from the quagmire situation. The wife of the former president also reminded them of the benefits and advantages they obtained when Musharraf was in the power.
Meanwhile, Sehba has also established contacts with the politicians who enjoyed and shared power during the dictatorial era.
