The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Monday arrested ex-chairman of the Capital Development Authority over corruption charges.
Farkhand Iqbal was being investigating over embezzlement and illegal allotment of government plots. He failed to satisfy the investigative agency over his unlawful practice and upon failure to clarify his position, the FIA detained him.
Iqbal is currently serving in Grade-21 in the planning commission.
A case has been registered against him over massive misappropriation and allotment of state-owned plots.
