Qaumi Awami Tehreek leader Ayaz Latif Palijo called off province-wide strike in Sindh on Monday after meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation.
In a rare move, MQM Rabitta Committee members arrived at the residence of Ayaz Latif Palijo late Sunday night.
The MQM delegation headed by Wasim Akhtar included Kanwan Navid Jamil, Zubair Ahmed Khan, Arbab Ghulam Rahim and others.
Ayaz Palijo said meeting with MQM delegation was beginning of reconciliation. He said unity of Sindh should be separated from other small issues.
Palijo further said there is need to work for education in Sindh. He also thanked MQM delegation for their visit.
MQM leader Wasim Akhtar said they have invited Ayaz Palijo to visit Nine Zero (90).
