Police conducted targeted search operation in Frontier Colony area and held 30 suspects on Monday.
According to Orangi Town SP Chaudhry Asad, police force conducted raids in Frontier Colony area of OrangiTown from where 30 suspected persons were arrested from the jurisdiction of Pirabad Police Station while further investigation from the suspects is underway.
Meanwhile, Rangers arrested 25 suspects during series of targeted raids across the city during the last 24 hours.
According to Rangers spokesman, raids were conducted in Gulshan e Iqbal, Ghareebabad, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Korangi Number 4, Dawood Chali, New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Rafa-e-Amm Society, Chanesar Goth, Model Colony and Nursery areas last night.
Besides these, snap checking was also carried out at Attock Petrol Pump, Landhi, during which 25 criminals were arrested, and weapons including SMGs were recovered.
