Chief of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Aftab Ahmed Sherpao has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is facing serious problems in facilitating and accommodating the internally displaced persons (IDPs).
He stated this while talking to reporters during his visit to Jalozai Camp in Peshawar on Sunday.
Aftab Sherpao said the purpose of his visit to Jalozai Camp was to get first hand information about the problems faced by the IDPs and to extend all possible help for lessening their miseries.
The QWP chief said that dialogues were vital for restoration of peace and economic activities in the province and both provincial and federal governments should seriously think and work over it.
He said it will be an honour for KP if the prime minister visits the province, hold consultation and guide the provincial government regarding initiating peace dialogues with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Aftab Sherpao expressed grave concerns over the stance of the PTI-led KPgovernment regarding Kalabagh Dam and said that the chief minister should keep in view that Nowshera will be affected most if the dam was constructed.
He also criticised the PTI chairman for repeatedly changing his viewpoint about Kalabagh Dam.
